In What You Say
It's common to hear people say, "I lost my religion" when referencing the language they use in particularly frustrating circumstances. What we mean is, "I said some things that I should not have said." But I believe we really do need to "lose our religion" in regards to our words. Religion does not help us control the often hurtful things we say so we obviously need to "lose our religion" and depend upon a relationship with God to enable us to use our words as a way of blessing others.
