Describe the calling you felt to ministry.
Music has always been the vehicle in which I work out my calling. Building leaders and learners has always been what brought me the greatest fulfillment in life. Training the next generation of worshipers and leaders is where I spend the majority of time, helping others to take their next steps towards the dreams God placed in their hearts.
How did you end up in Callahan, FL?
Callahan is where I grew up. Callahan First is a place that gave me an opportunity to lead worship from the time I was in middle school until I left for college. Throughout my career as a worship pastor this community of believers has always been a family I could lean on so in every sense this has been a homecoming for us.
What phrase from the Bible do you cling to when going through tough times?
Philemon 6 “I pray that you are active in sharing your faith so you will understand every good thing you have in Christ.” This verse always gives me perspective when I feel the weight of any given situation becoming to great to handle on my own.
If you could change places with a Bible Character, who would you choose and why?
Moses, an unlikely leader who became the voice of God to his people though he struggled with his speech. I’ve always resonated with a man who led people well though he never truly felt worry of his calling.
What household chore do you hate the most?
If you could go back to high-school, what is a piece of advice you would tell yourself?
Buy as much Apple stock as you can afford.
